Users of Amadeus’ Cytric booking tool will soon be able to access content from French hotel booking platform CDS Groupe following a recently-announced integration between the two tech companies.
The integration will allow Cytric clients to access the entire CDS Groupe content offering, including competitive rates, integration of payment methods, customisable invoicing and reporting tools and “personalised support from hospitality experts”.
Hotel content and booking process from CDS Groupe, which recently expanded into Germany, will be “fully integrated” into the Cytric tool, according to the companies, including rates negotiated in accordance with clients’ travel programme.
The move builds on an existing partnership between the two companies following CDS Groupe’s integration with the Amadeus GDS and Amadeus Value Hotels, the latter of which was announced earlier this year.
“This merger with Amadeus is an obvious choice to support our corporate clients and our agency partners,” said CDS Groupe CEO Ziad Minkara.
“This partnership accelerates our international expansion. Thus, the technological synergy between the two companies allows companies to have more advanced functionalities and to best meet the requirements and expectations of all markets, France and Europe included,” he added.
Bertrand Poey, general manager of Amadeus France and Gestour, added: “We are delighted to extend our agreement with CDS Groupe and thus allow business travellers using Cytric to access an expanded hotel offering.”
