UK aparthotel brand Native Places is set for major growth with five new properties due to open in the next two years.
Native Places currently has six hotels across London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh, with its fourth London property, Native St Paul’s, due to open in late 2023.
The company is also looking to open hotels in Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff and Oxford as part of its expansion plans.
Native Places said that its revenue in 2022 was more than 4 per cent higher than forecast, with average length of stay also rising from 1.5 days to between 2.5 and 3 days.
Olivia Immesi, managing director at Native Places, said: “We are seeing a pent-up demand for extended stays - it is our mission to provide travellers with a more integrated home-from-home experience that offers the freedom and flexibility when our guests are travelling for work or hoping to relax in a larger space, during a long-term stay.”
Native Places said that it was committed to sustainable growth with each site needing to align with its ESG initiatives, which include “prioritising the sustainability and environmental longevity of each building”.
The company is also working towards becoming a B-Corp listed company and securing BREEAM accreditation, which is a global sustainability assessment method for buildings.
“For each Native property, we celebrate the heritage of the building and we encourage our guests to live like a local and meet the creatives at the heart of the community,” added Immesi.
