Meetings booking platform Hubli has introduced a new diversity module to its ESG (environmental, social and governance) platform.
Hubli, which specialises in the self-service booking of “simple” meetings, said the new module allows its suppliers to give details of their diversity credentials across 19 categories such as ownership structure.
Participating venues will receive a diversity badge and description on their page within the booking platform. Meeting planners can also filter and book venues based on their diversity.
The latest development comes after Hubli launched a new sustainability tool in June 2022 designed to help planners choose venues based on the lowest carbon emissions.
Ciaran Delaney, Hubli’s CEO, said: “It’s our goal to help our enterprise clients to deliver on their meeting ESG goals. Our new diversity module, combined with our existing sustainability tools, allows organisations to put ESG at the centre of their global meetings strategy.”
The platform will give its clients the ability to access data on carbon savings, as well as the percentage of sustainable and diverse venues they have used globally.
“In order to effectively contribute to our clients ESG commitments, we felt it was vital to ensure ESG data and measurement was readily available via the platform,” added Mark Nunan, chief operating officer of Hubli.
The enhanced platform was due to go live on Tuesday (8 November) to coincide with the GBTA Convention in Brussels, where Hubli’s head of customer success Aurelie Krau will chair a panel focusing on innovation in business travel.
