Travel Leaders Corporate and Altour’s corporate travel
business are aligning under a single brand effective immediately, Altour,
offering fulfilment, data and insights and meetings and incentive management,
according to Travel Leaders Group.
The group said the two sister companies have been working
together for more than two years cooperating on international accounts, air
agreements and entertainment travel.
Alexandre Chemla, founder and CEO of Altour, said: “We are
thrilled about the unique opportunities this will create for our corporate
customers, as well as our employees and supplier partners.”
According to Travel Leaders Group, the combined business
represent multiple billions in total travel volume, bringing increased buying
leverage to new and existing customers in the mid-sized market. The Altour brand
will now have more than 2,000 travel professionals and advisors in more than 57
office locations. The brand will continue its partnership with Travel Leaders
Network.
The Altour senior leadership team will include Chemla, chief
revenue officer Gabe Rizzi, chief operating officer Lee Thomas, executive vice
president of strategic planning Barry Noskeau, and executive vice president of
global operations Joseph Oppold.
Texas-based Canyon Creek Travel, which was acquired by
Altour last year, will also join the single brand.
Travel Leaders Group and Altour merged in 2017.
