Trevor Elswood, CCO at Capita Travel and Events, has stepped down from the company – but will retain a non-executive position as an advisor.
Elswood spent ten years at Capita Travel and Events, and is now stepping down from his executive responsibilities. The company said this will ensure the business can continue to benefit from his "vast amount of knowledge and experience in the industry".
“Trevor’s contribution is woven into the fabric of our business and bringing him on board with the acquisition of BSI [where Elswood previously worked] was the single most transformative event in our story,” said James Parkhouse, CEO of Capita Travel and Events.
“He has played a significant role in shaping our unique offerings for UK organisations. This has enabled us to grow into where we are now as Capita Travel and Events. This opportunity has been made possible through a focus on building an experienced and capable team as part of Capita Travel and Events’ talent succession planning.
"We wish Trevor well. It is fantastic that he will continue his involvement in an advisory capacity to ensure the next phases of our business transformation and the long-term success of the company.”
His new role as non-executive director will take effect in February 2020.
