Sterling Travel Management will merge its operations with Traveleads
to form a single company following the acquisition of Sterling by Global Travel
Solutions Group (GTSG) last year.
According to the group, the merger plan will further
consolidate Travelead’s position in the UK. Founded in 1971, the TMC has an
annual turnover of £39 million and has offices in Leeds, Edinburgh, Aberdeen
and Southampton.
Paul Millington, group managing director of GTSG, said: “We’re
incredibly excited to welcome the Sterling Travel Management team and their
clients to the Traveleads family. Together, we’re passionate about maximising
opportunities for growth, improving our services and, ultimately, delivering
more for our customers nationwide. We’re committed to maintaining and
developing the excellent relationships the Sterling team have held with their
customers over the years while ensuring the transition is seamless for those involved.”
Traveleads UK client services director Maggi Monteith added:
“We’re looking forward to finding synergies and streamlining processes across
the business to continue making our customers’ lives even easier.”
