Air Canada is to launch new flights between Amsterdam and Montreal as the carrier enjoys “strong demand” for European services.
The airline already flies year-round between Toronto and Schiphol airports and will also operate a summer service from Montreal to the Netherlands hub from 2 June to 14 October 2023.
The new seasonal route will operate five times per week using Air Canada’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring three cabins: Signature Class, premium economy and economy.
Mark Galardo, senior vice president network planning and revenue management at Air Canada, said: “We continue to see strong demand for travel to Europe and we are thrilled to increase service and add new, non-stop service between Montreal and Amsterdam for summer 2023.”
The latest route announcement is part of the rebuilding of Air Canada's transatlantic services this summer following the Covid-19 pandemic.
