Air Canada will resume and extend its non-stop service between Edinburgh and Toronto this summer.
The service will restart on 2 June and, during the summer peak, will operate daily. The extended service will then continue three times weekly into the winter season, from 29 October to 8 January 2024, and is planned to return in early spring 2024.
Daily flights will depart Edinburgh at 9:00 and arrive in Toronto at 11:10 local time. Return flights take off at 19:05 from Toronto and land in the Scottish capital at 06:35 the following day.
The route will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which feature three cabins: Air Canada’s ‘Signature Class’, which includes lie-flat seats, premium economy and economy class. Tickets are now on sale.
In addition to the Edinburgh-Toronto service, the Canadian carrier's UK and Ireland network includes year-round services from London Heathrow to Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary and Halifax and between Dublin and Toronto, as well as non-stop seasonal services from Dublin to Vancouver and Montreal, and from Manchester to Toronto.
It also flies to more than 50 further destinations across Europe.
