Turkish Airlines’ newly rebranded low-cost subsidiary AJet will commence operations on 31 March.
The budget carrier, formerly AnadoluJet, will operate flights to 41 domestic and 52 international destinations, including services from the UK.
With a fleet of 95 aircraft, the carrier will fly to a total of 44 countries for its inaugural summer season, including services from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to London Stansted, Rome Fiumicino, Paris CDG, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Zurich airports.
AJet will operate from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Ankara Esenboğa airports in Turkey and will offer economy class seating across its fleet. Ticket sales are now open.
The Turkish Airlines sub-brand also has ambitious expansion plans, with a target to expand its fleet to 200 aircraft and operate 80 international routes by 2033.
