British Airways will launch daily flights between London Heathrow and Abu Dhabi next April following a four-year hiatus, the carrier announced on Thursday (19 October).
Commencing on 20 April, the service will operate year-round on Boeing 787-9 aircraft, expanding the carrier’s footprint in the UAE.
Summer flights will depart Heathrow at 22:25 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 8:30 the following day, while services from the UAE capital depart at 10:10 and arrive in London at 15:20. Winter flights will arrive and depart Abu Dhabi an hour later.
The carrier will operate from Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal A, which is set to open to the public on 1 November. Tickets are now on sale.
British Airways currently operates three-times daily services between Heathrow and Dubai.
