EasyJet is to launch a new route from Paris Orly airport to the Icelandic capital Reykjavik later this year.
The budget carrier will launch the twice-weekly route between Orly and Keflavík airports on 3 September.
EasyJet already operates flights to Keflavik from six destinations in Europe, including Bristol, Edinburgh, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Milan.
“We at Keflavik airport are delighted that easyJet has decided to add a new destination from our airport. This is an indication of how popular Iceland is as a destination,” said Grétar Már Garðarsson, director of airline relations and route development at Isavia, which runs the Icelandic airport.
