El Al Israel Airlines is to start non-stop flights between Dublin and Tel Aviv from the start of its summer 2023 schedule.
The route between Israel and the Irish capital will operate three times per week from 26 March 2023, with a flight time of around six hours.
El Al will operate Boeing 737 aircraft on the route on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with both economy and business class cabins.
Vincent Harrison, Managing Director of Dublin Airport: “The route will come as good news to the ever-growing number of Israeli businesses that are present in Ireland.”
El Al had previously intended to start flights to Dublin in May 2020 but had to scrap the plan due to the Covid-19 pandemic
“A large Israeli community lives in Dublin, mainly high-tech workers who work in international tech companies that are based in Dublin to serve Europe and the Middle East,” said El Al’s CEO Dina Ben Tal Ganancia.
