Etihad Airways is to expand its network to Europe by adding flights from Abu Dhabi to Copenhagen and the German city of Dusseldorf.
Both routes will start from 1 October 2023 with four weekly services to Copenhagen and three per week to Dusseldorf.
Etihad said it would fly Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on both routes featuring both economy and business class cabins.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “We are thrilled to start flying to Denmark for the first time and to expand our network in Germany to our third city, providing guests with more options and easier access between Abu Dhabi and Europe.”
Etihad has previously flown to Dusseldorf and the restart of the route means it will join existing German destinations Frankfurt and Munich as part of the airline’s network to Europe.
