UK-based travel management company Gray Dawes has upgraded its online booking tool YourTrip
with the addition of an artificial intelligence engine designed by Grapevine.
At launch, the newly upgraded tool, dubbed YourTrip+, will automatically
recommend hotels with content sourced from Booking.com.
Steve Fisher, Gray Dawes’ chief technology officer, said:
"Client data is ingested from multiple sources, including historical
bookings, live trip information and company policies to get a clear
understanding of each traveller and how we can help."
David Bishop, chief commercial officer at Gray Dawes Group,
said. “With travel volumes at historic lows and duty of care increasingly in
focus, it has never been more important to bring travel spend into compliance.”
Grapevine founder and CEO, Jack Dow, said, “TMCs are great
at selling flights, but often lose hotel, car hire, airport parking and other
ancillary bookings to off-platform sources.”
Transfers, restaurants, live events, guided tours and
attractions are all slated for inclusion in future releases of the tool.
