Lufthansa Group and TMC Navan are to start offering their BusinessToGo online travel platform for SMEs to companies in the UK and France.
BusinessToGo was first launched in May 2022 when Navan was still known as TripActions. It was initially offered to organisations in the German-speaking DACH region (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) plus Belgium.
The platform, which can be accessed by web and mobile devices, allows SMEs to book travel services including flights from more than 500 airlines, as well as hotels, car rental and train journeys.
BusinessToGo can also automatically apply a company’s travel policies, as well as a traveller’s personal preferences and offer “optimal” prices.
“We are excited to see our successful collaboration with Lufthansa Group expand to the United Kingdom and France,” said Michael Riegel, CEO, EMEA at Navan.
“We are grateful for Lufthansa Group airlines’ continued partnership and pioneering vision to take the BusinessToGo offering to ever greater heights.”
The two companies offer two pricing packages: Essentials for SMEs with up to 100 travellers with no booking fee and Premium for those with more than 100 travelling employees, which includes a £5/€5 charge per booking.
The platform features access to NDC-based fares while companies who are members of Lufthansa’s existing PartnerPlusBenefit programme can also continue to earn and use corporate loyalty points.
Heinrich Lange, senior director sales, Northern Europe at Lufthansa Group, said they had “gathered broad experience” with BusinessToGo since launching in its home markets last year.
“We designed this smart new platform together with Navan in order to address travel demand from companies who want to efficiently self-manage their travel demand,” added Lange.
