Corporate travel reshopping specialist TripBam has updated its Smart Sourcing tool for hotel requests for proposals (RFP), the company announced.
The enhanced offering, available now, includes an updated RFP dashboard, currency conversions, training materials and the option to self-extract bids in "common travel agency formats," such as those offered by SAP Concur and the Global Business Travel Association, according to TripBam.
The updated tool also includes a "holistic national sales manager dashboard" with hotel chain feedback to "enable chains to participate in the RFP process," the company said.
"We've spent the past three years working with clients and their hotel partners to eliminate waste from what has traditionally been a long and time-consuming exercise," EVP of hotel solutions David Mollov said in a statement. TripBam launched Smart Sourcing in 2019 and updated the platform in 2022.
TripBam's updated solution was an "investment" in addressing "longstanding issues of corporate hotel sourcing," TripBam founder and CEO Steve Reynolds said in a statement. The updated solution works in conjunction with the company's other offerings, according to TripBam.
The reshopping platform also recently agreed a deal with TMC network GlobalStar Travel Management to provide members 'enterprise-level' access to its services.
