TMC technology provider TripStax is adding ground transport to its portfolio of products through a new partnership with Jyrney.
UK-based Jyrney’s mobility platform offers a range of ground transport options including taxis, ride-hailing services and chauffeur-drive. The company won the prestigious 2022 Business Travel Innovation Faceoff contest at the Business Travel Show Europe last year.
TripStax, which was set up in 2021 and has been spun off as a standalone company by travel management company ATPI, offers a range of “modular” technology stacks to TMCs. Last year, it acquired booking platform TapTrip and hotel specialist Hotelzon. TripStax also featured in BTN Europe's 2023 Hotlist published in January.
Scott Wylie, chief technology officer at TripStax, said: “Jyrney is an innovative tech solution that is looking to do things differently in the ground transport sector to better integrate and connect mobility with business travel.
“Ground transport and mobility are increasingly important to corporates as a part of trip management. We were looking to bring a ground transport component to TripStax to support our TMC customers’ needs.”
Jyrney works with TMCs, online booking tools and GDSs through a range of white label solutions and APIs, as well as connecting suppliers with corporate customers. It offers real-time quotes, availability and vehicle tracking.
Daniel Price, CEO of Jyrney, called the partnership with TripStax a “game changer” for the two companies’ mutual TMC customers.
“With the integration of ground transport options, we're bridging the gap in technical connectivity and making it easier for TMCs to offer multi-modal trips,” added Price.
