Travel management company Agiito has launched a live availability solution for meetings and events clients.
The TMC, formerly known as Capita Travel and Events before rebranding as Agiito last year, now allows meetings bookers to log on to its Meetingspro platform to view rates and venue availability in real-time and then submit their enquiry.
Agiito said it would pilot this enhanced technology with a “significant” customer in the coming weeks.
The Meetingspro portal, which was initially built inhouse by the TMC in 2017, is being continually developed based on feedback from customers.
Caroline Medcalf, director of venue find and events at Agiito, said: “We are continually evolving the tool to stay abreast of the latest trends; bookers are empowered to make their own choices and we offer a fully bespoke online experience for simple meetings.
“More importantly, our venue find operations teams can use their expertise to provide an offline, high-touch and dedicated service to our more complex bookings.”
The TMC is already planning for the next upgrade of Meetingspro to include the ability to make instant bookings, which would allow users to view availability and then book meeting rooms online.
