Corporate payment specialist AirPlus has launched a spend analytics platform that allows customers to manage and view spend metrics via a new dashboard.
Known as AirPlus Intelligence Hub, the ‘basic module’ of the platform is currently available as a free service to all customers of the company’s corporate and virtual cards and will be extended to users of AirPlus Company Account in 2024.
The platform provides an overview of spend dating back two years, which can be filtered by customisable time ranges as well as by a list of categories, including payment product, service type and suppliers or via descriptive billing information such as cost centre, project number or department, according to the company.
The platform also allows customers to download their aggregated data and is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch.
Additional data modules will be added in 2024 – and come at an additional cost, according to the company. This includes the Data+ module, will facilitate customisable data downloads and scheduled report generation, while the Advanced Analytics module will provide a global overview of spend with the ability to consolidate multiple agreements in multiple currencies.
Further modules coming in 2024 will also provide “deeper information” on business trips and emissions data, according to the company.
Airplus executive marketing director Michael Heilmann said: “In times of virtual communication and cost constraints, corporates feel the need to justify business travel and prove its return on investment more and more… With AirPlus Intelligence, we’re now providing [companies] with the next generation of intelligence tools to easily analyse and manage their everyday spend.”
