CWT is working with travel technology specialist Traxo to offer its clients the ability to capture off-channel bookings.
Traxo's Filter platform can identify confirmations of travel bookings within a company's email server and then convert them to usable data for travel management systems.
CWT is using this technology in a new solution for clients to manage bookings made outside the TMC’s booking channels and is currently putting together a pilot group of clients to test this functionality.
“Filling this data gap is important for a number of reasons including understanding programme leakage, enhanced safety and security information, and accurately calculating carbon emissions,” explained CWT VP of product management Charlie Sullivan.
“Our partnership with Traxo solves this - by capturing out-of-channel booking data and eliminating critical gaps in trip spend and itinerary data.”
Traxo already works with multiple TMCs, including American Express Global Business Travel, which announced a pilot with a large client in late 2022. Traxo also sealed deals with both Advantage Travel Partnership and WIN Global Travel Network in 2020.
Andres Fabris, Traxo’s founder and CEO, added: “Traxo’s solution automatically detects, aggregates and brings visibility to travel bookings, changes and cancellation in real-time from any source across the globe. We are delighted to bring this full visibility to CWT and its clients.”
