Israeli carrier El Al has today launched its first direct flight between Dublin and Tel Aviv.
The route between Israel and the Irish capital, which had initially been due to start in 2020 before the pandemic struck, will operate three times per week with a flight time of around six hours.
Flights are scheduled to operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays on a Boeing 737, which features both economy and business class cabins.
As the first non-stop service between the two countries, the carrier said it hopes the route will stimulate business opportunities, particularly in the technology sector.
