Middle Eastern carrier Etihad Airways is further strengthening its European network by increasing flights between Abu Dhabi and Frankfurt.
The airline currently operates daily services to the key German hub airport and will add another four weekly services on the route from 1 May. The extra flights will be operated using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft offering both economy and business class cabins.
The latest increase in capacity to Germany comes after Etihad last month announced the start of flights from Abu Dhabi to Dusseldorf from 1 October. The airline will also add flights to Copenhagen in Denmark from the same date.
Etihad said in a statement that increasing flights to Frankfurt showed its “commitment to the important German market”.
