Gray Dawes Travel has acquired two leading TMCs as consolidation continues in the sector.
It has struck deals for Travel Management Group (TMG) and Cambridge Business Travel (CBT) – the cost of the deal has not been disclosed.
According to BBT’s Top 50 Leading TMCs, Gray Dawes is listed as the 29th largest TMC in the UK with TMG at 36. The annual sales of CBT have not been disclosed.
Suzanne Horner CEO of Gray Dawes said the deal achieves the goal to propel the business into of the 20 largest TMCs in the UK trading in excess of £100m per year.
“The staff and customers of both companies are an excellent fit for Gray Dawes and their locations of Leamington Spa and Cambridge provide us with new geographic opportunity,” said Horner. “Together with our recent appointment as member of Radius Travel, Gray Dawes now brings the benefits of scale and global reach to our ever-growing customer base.”
The Gray Dawes deal follows last month’s acquisition of Portman by Clarity Travel Management.
