European online meetings booking platform Meetingselect has acquired hospitality technology company Cyberdigma as it looks to develop and expand products “faster and more efficiently”.
Netherlands-based Meetingselect is purchasing fellow Dutch technology firm Cyberdigma, which has developed the software for the Seats2meet.com booking platform. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Anouk Roohe, co-founder of Meetingselect, said: “Our industry needs smart, instant booking solutions that support hospitality leaders in providing customers with a seamless booking experience.
“By taking over Cyberdigma, we are strengthening our global market position with instant co-working and workspace bookings. We are also adding an experienced team of developers to our organisation.”
Meetingselect, which was founded by Roohe and Judith Huisman, has developed its own Instant Bookings platform allowing users to book meeting rooms and workspaces online. It can also be deployed by venues as a widget on their own websites. Cyberdigma supported Meetingselect in the development of Instant Bookings.
Marielle Sijgers, co-founder of Cyberdigma, added: “There is a real demand for new ways of working and smart solutions. By having our skilled technical team join forces with the team at Meetingselect, they will be able to faster deliver co-working and workspace meeting space booking solutions to both bookers and venues.”
Last month, Meetingselect announced a new partnership with travel management company ATPI. The company also acquired Germany-based MICE Access, a global meetings distribution technology specialist, in January 2021.
