Meon Valley Travel has purchased fellow TMC Longreach Travel.
Meon Valley, which ranked 34th in BBT’s list of the UK’s 50 leading TMCs, has acquired Longreach for an undisclosed sum, which will “further strengthen” Meon’s presence in the MICE market.
Longreach, which also specialises in organising school trips, was set up in 1975 and acts as both a wholesaler and retailer.
Meon Valley director Colin Boddy said: “Longreach’s proven track record in delivering exceptional levels of customer service and value complements our own ideals.”
Jim Long, Longreach’s managing director, added: “Meon Valley’s professional and experienced team will enable Longreach Travel to move forward to develop enriched opportunities for existing and new customers. We are open for new business and looking forward to a bright and exciting future together.”
