Minor Hotels will rebadge Amsterdam’s NH Museum Quarter hotel under its Avani brand as it continues to expand the latter’s presence in Europe.
The rebranded Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam is set to open in Q2 this year, marking the brand’s debut in the Netherlands.
The refurbished property will comprise 163 rooms, a boardroom and 24-hour gym, lobby lounge and The Pantry, the brand’s ‘grab and go’ concept.
Amsterdam Central Station is a ten-minute drive away, while the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre is a “short” tram ride from the hotel.
“Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam marks a significant milestone for Minor Hotels, reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences across the globe. With this upcoming opening, Avani guests will be able to immerse themselves in the art-led design of our newest gem in the Netherlands,” said Dillip Rajakarier, group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels.
The upcoming launch follows recent Avani openings in Madrid, Milan, Venice and Frankfurt as brand’s global property count is set to double to almost 100 by the end of 2026.
Headquartered in Thailand, Minor Hotels’ portfolio also includes the NH, Anantara, Elewana, Tivoli and Oaks hotel brands.
