Neil Armorgie, global product director at Advantage Travel Partnership and WIN chief executive, is to leave the organisation on 18 February 2020. Ken McLeod will continue as non-executive director on the WIN Board to provide transitional support over the next six months.
Armorgie will join Snowstorm Technologies, which is a commercial partner of Advantage Travel Partnership, and also has connections with WIN Hotel Hub.
Julia Lo Bue-Said, chief executive of Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We thank Neil for his dedication over the past 17 years and he will be missed at Advantage Travel Partnership and WIN. As a part of Advantage’s restructure, which supports future growth and vision, we are now looking to recruit a creative individual who can lead Advantage’s business travel division, corporate hotel programme, as well progress the expansion of the WIN Global Travel Network.”
Advantage Business Travel plans to grow its global footprint next year, following an additional 11 TMCs joining since the start of 2019, including The Travel Group and Belair Travel, increasing the collective turnover of the business travel division by £220 million to £3.5 billion.
It also said members this year have been supported in international RFPs worth more than US$100 million across a network of over 75 countries.
