Ryanair has restarted its partnership with Amadeus as the European budget carrier looks to sharpen focus on corporate travellers.
The previously announced partnership went live on Thursday (18 May), with the carrier’s network of more than 3,000 daily flights to more than 235 destinations now integrated with booking flows on the Amadeus Travel platform.
Amadeus regional VP, air distribution Europe, Jose-Luis Aragon, said the integration of Ryanair’s content will provide travel sellers and corporations “a broader choice of travel options while benefiting from smooth and seamless integration into their everyday tools and processes”.
Ryanair previously worked with Amadeus between 2014 and 2017 before the partnership ended in December 2017.
Ryanair director of marketing and digital Dara Brady said the partnership will further expand the carrier’s corporate travel offering. He also pointed to a long-term working relationship with Amadeus “over the coming years” as Ryanair looks to carry 225 million passengers annually by 2026.
