Singapore Airlines has restored pre-Covid flight frequencies
on its route to London Heathrow and says it will be increasing flights to
Manchester starting next week.
The flag carrier now operates four return flights per day between
Heathrow and Singapore using a mixture of Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A380 and
Airbus A350 aircraft. Services depart London at 0925, 1125, 2050 and 2205 local
time, while flights depart Changi at 0110, 0900, 1235 and 2330 local time.
From 7 June, services between Singapore and Houston via
Manchester will increase to four weekly flights. Services from Manchester to
Singapore will depart at 1140 local time on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and
Saturday, while flights to Houston will leave at 1040 local time on Tuesday,
Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Services from Singapore to Manchester will depart
at 0205 local time on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, while those from
Houston will take off at 1910 local time on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and
Sunday.
The move comes after Singapore relaxed its entry requirements for fully vaccinated travellers at the end of April.
