Travel management company TravelPerk is forming a new partnership with Paris-based expenses specialist Spendesk.
The deal will allow the two companies to integrate platforms for clients, allowing corporates to book, pay and process travel spend “through one seamless integration”.
Spendesk vice president for continental Europe, Stéphane Baranzelli, described the integration as “a technological bridge” between the two companies in a recent interview with French trade publication Deplacementspros. He said the move will allow clients to manage business travel expenses without changing interfaces.
The integration can by activated “in one click” to automatically synchronise invoices, provide trip-specific cost breakdowns and “one smooth approval flow for both platforms”. A mobile app will also allow travellers to make “on-the-go requests”.
Spendesk – which also has offices in London, Berlin, Hamburg and Madrid – is currently working on a feature to automatically link TravelPerk expenses to Spendesk cost centres and analytics, according to Deplacementspros. The deployment is reportedly planned for the end of the year.
