France-based hotel giant Accor has appointed Julie White as chief commercial officer Europe and North Africa for its premium, economy and midscale division.
White joins the group from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts where she held the position of vice president commercial for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Eurasia. Prior to this, she provided travel-related M&A advisory services with PwC Consulting, and has also held global sales roles with carriers including Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and American Airlines.
Based in London, White will lead Accor’s regional commercial team – which includes sales and distribution, marketing and loyalty and customer experience – with responsibility for driving revenue strategy across the Europe and North Africa markets.
She will report to the group’s global chief commercial officer of the premium, midscale and economy division, Karelle Lamouche.
Lamouche said: “Accor has a clear focus and commitment to further develop our European market leadership and drive commercial value through our guest centricity and brand strength… Julie has a brilliant track record and fantastic experience as a commercial leader, and I know she will be a huge asset to the business.”
White added: “Accor has one of the most far-reaching and diverse portfolios across Europe & North Africa, but its ambition to keep growing in strength and success is evident. I am excited to be working with such a great team to help deliver Accor’s commercial objectives across the region.”
