American Express Global Business Travel has appointed chief commercial officer Andrew Crawley to the position of president, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Crawley, who formerly held management positions at both British Airways and its parent company International Airlines Group (IAG), joined Amex GBT as chief commercial officer in April 2020 following the departure of the TMC’s president Philippe Chereque.
The appointment of Crawley as the TMC’s president is effective immediately and he continues to report to Amex GBT’s CEO Paul Abbott in his new role.
