The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel has completed the first phase of an £8 million refurbishment.
The investment is part of a wider local picture with the ongoing
Manchester Airport Group's (MAG) multi-billion pound Manchester Airport
Transformation project, which includes the upgrade of the airport's Terminal 2.
The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel has completed the refurbishment of 229 bedrooms and its public spaces, with the lobby redesigned as an open plan space featuring the reception desk, a cafe, bar and restaurant.
The new bedrooms have flatscreen TVs, wifi, bathtubs and double glazed windows for noise reduction. Club Rooms offer king-sized beds and space to work.
Further refurbishments to the hotel will be unveiled later this year, including a Club Lounge extension,
improved guest facilities and a standalone restaurant.
The hotel is located close to all three terminals and is a 10 minute walk from Terminal 2, where the airport train station is based.
