Corporate Travel Management has bolstered its specialist MICE division, Event Travel Management (ETM), with six new hires in the UK following increased demand for meetings and events.
“We enjoyed an incredibly strong return following Covid with demand for events exceeding pre-pandemic levels,” said ETM Europe general manager Mike Leeson.
“Last year, we restructured the team to allow the business to scale and manage continued growth while ensuring we could maintain the high client service levels we are known for.”
The new team members include Tracy Clark, who has been appointed business development manager and returns to the MICE industry after a pandemic-induced break with more than 10 years’ experience.
Lily Fitzsimmons joins the company as account manager after working with the likes of Deloitte and BCD Meetings & Events and Isobel Appleby has been named events project manager following previous events-focused roles at Dods Group and Umi.
Dale Lansdown, Natalie Toulson and Tamasine Peppiatt have also been appointed as event travel managers.
Lansdown brings almost 10 years of experience to the role, having worked with Veritas Events and Tribe Group, while Toulson has worked in the industry for 20 years, including 13 years specialising in group travel.
Peppiatt, meanwhile, joins the company from Inntel, where she managed specialist, VIP and group travel.
Leeson added: “In 2023, we delivered over 4,500 events in more than 25 countries for our clients, and we’re really looking forward to getting stuck in to our 2024 projects as well as welcoming new clients and creating amazing, connected experiences in new countries.”
