Radisson Hotel Group will open its first Radisson RED-branded property in Berlin, in the city’s bustling Kurfürstendamm district, this spring.
The Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm is expected to open in the German capital in late spring following an 'extensive renovation’ of the group’s Park Plaza Berlin Kudamm property.
Targeting the ‘bleisure’ segment, the hotel will feature 133 guest rooms including 14 studios, an all-day dining restaurant and a summer garden terrace, event spaces, game areas and a co-working space.
As the hotel group continues to expand its footprint across Europe, this latest property marks the debut of Radisson RED in Berlin and joins the group’s existing properties, including Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin, art’otel Berlin Mitte, Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz, Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin Mitte and Park Plaza Berlin.
Reli Slonim, president of the management board and CEO of Arena Hospitality Group, which co-owns and manages the hotel, said: “We are thrilled to announce the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm and believe this dynamic brand will be a great addition to the Berlin hotel market, in what is one of Europe’s most vibrant capital cities.
“This repositioning project is scheduled to open ahead of the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament and will complement our already diversified hotel portfolio in the German capital.”
He continued: “This new Radisson RED opening will follow shortly after our planned January 2024 launch of the Radisson RED Belgrade, which are both part of our further growth and portfolio optimisation strategy.”
