The UK’s Focus Travel Partnership has signed an agreement with PSNGR1 that will enable customers of its TMC members to implement the platform as their preferred online booking tool.
It is the third partnership secured by PSNGR1 in the UK this month, with the company having already agreed deals with Gray Dawes Travel and Blue Cube Travel.
Focus has similar arrangements in place with online booking tools Atriis and Cytric. The consortium has more than 50 TMC members with a combined turnover in excess of £1 billion.
“Focus Travel Partnership and the board of directors recognise the importance of the next generation storefront and NDC, whilst remaining agnostic with a mix of GDS and direct content in one shopping and booking experience, to our partners to help them grow their business and meet the needs of the next generation workforce,” said Abby Penston, Focus CEO.
Penston said Gen Z and Millennials now represent over 75 per cent of workforces and relate to the kind of “consumer-grade tech” that the partnership delivers. It will additionally enable TMCs to choose their third-party suppliers through multi-GDS and agnostic content.
“The UK is a key market for PSNGR1 and we are just getting started,” added Richard Viner, GM UK and Europe at PSNGR1.
Elsewhere, travel management company CWT has this week signed an agreement with Serko to offer its Zeno booking platform as a "globally preferred" tool.
