The UK's Focus Travel Partnership has added Clare Collins, co-owner and managing director of corporate travel at CT Travel Group, to its board of directors.
Collins joins the recently appointed Bob Schumacher and James Parkhouse on Focus' board of directors.
The partnership is understood to be closing in on a new chief executive following Abby Penston's departure in January.
Former United Airlines executive Schumacher was named non-executive chair in November at the same time former Agiito CEO Parkhouse joined as a non-executive director.
"Clare’s appointment reflects our commitment to advocating for the next generation of leaders and our ongoing objectives of driving growth, innovation and service excellence," said Schumacher.
Collins said her appointment to the board "aligns with my personal leadership goals and my commitment to sharing over 20 years of business travel and MICE experience to drive growth, innovation, and service excellence within our industry."
Stepping down from the board, meanwhile, are former Norad Travel Group chair Mick Gibbs and arrangeMY managing director Nick Scott.
The Focus consortium's membership comprises more than 50 small and medium-sized travel management companies in the UK with a combined turnover in excess of £1 billion. Focus was named the continent's 10th largest TMC network in Europe's Leading TMCs 2023.
