The Netherlands Association for Travel Management (NATM) has appointed Herman Mensink as its strategic counsel.
The association, which is now in its 51st year and represents GBTA Europe in the Netherlands, is planning to focus on its strategy and educational projects as it looks to bring together more travel management professionals across the country.
Corporate travel veteran Mensink will now play his part in helping to achieve these objectives in his new role with NATM.
Odete Pimenta da Silva, managing director of NATM, said: “I'm happy to be working again with Herman in his role as strategic counsel - his experience and knowledge will prove powerful alongside our ambitious plans for the future.”
Mensink’s positions in the industry have included director of corporate travel at Philips Electronics, director of EMEA for ACTE (Association of Corporate Travel Executives), and co-founder and long-time chair of the Corporate Travel Association (CORTAS).
He added: “I am excited to collaborate closely with the NATM leadership and its members, providing my expertise in both strategic and educational matters, building on a solid basis to further knowledge and expertise for al industry professionals.”
