German design-led hotel group Ruby has opened its first property in Stuttgart, which also includes a co-working space.
Ruby Hanna Hotel, which is the Munich-based company’s 17th hotel in Europe, features 148 rooms and a signature bar in the Gerber-Quartier area of the south-western German city.
Guests can choose from six room categories, including Resident Rooms for longer stays of seven days or more, which feature a coffee machine, fridge, more storage space and a residents’ kitchen and lounge.
The property also incorporates a co-working space, known as Ruby Fred Workspaces, within the hotel building.
Ruby Fred is the company’s sixth co-working space and the first located within one of its German hotels. It offers offices with fully equipped workstations, which can be rented flexibly and for short-notice periods. There are also meeting rooms available for groups of between six and 18 people.
The company, which was founded by CEO Michael Struck in 2013, has a further eight hotels under construction or in the planning phase. Ruby is also expanding into China through a joint venture with local firm Delonix.
