Sixt has appointed former KPMG managing partner Kai Andrejewski as CFO, with effect from 1 June. Andrejewski comes to the role with over 25 years of international financial expertise, according to the company. He will succeed Jörg Bremer, who will leave Sixt "on the best of terms to pursue new professional challenges," the car rental provider said in a statement.
Erich Sixt, chairman of the company's management board, said: “Our digitalisation and internationalisation strategy ONE requires in equal measure a further transformation and digitalisation of our finance department. In doing so, we will continue to rely on our successful solid and conservative finance strategy and are pleased that we have been able to attract Kai Andrejewski to join our management board team as an expert who brings a high level of integrity and team spirit. He shares our clear vision of international, digital and sustainable mobility.”
