Hospitality start-up Sonder is planning to grow its presence in London by adding four new properties in 2022.
San Francisco-based Sonder will also expand the number of units under management in Edinburgh and open a new hotel in Dublin.
The company has already opened two properties in London this month: the 102-room Henry in Bayswater and the 53-room Voyage in Paddington. The 74-room Rove, alongside a yet-to-be-named 86-room property, will increase Sonder's total of London properties to 10.
Sonder will also add 11 units to Sonder Royal Garden Apartments in Edinburgh and expects to open a 26-room property in Dublin later this year.
The moves will increase Sonder's total properties under management in the UK and Ireland to 28.
Sonder said in January that it had signed more than 100 new corporate travel accounts during the pandemic.
The company currently operates more than 300 properties in 35 countries and put its content on three major global distribution systems (GDSs) in March 2021.
Sonder has also announced a plan to eliminate single-use plastic amenities in all guest-facing units by December 31, as part of its wider sustainability commitments.
