UK regional carrier Loganair has appointed Luke Farajallah as its new CEO from March 4.
Farajallah takes over from previous CEO Jonathan Hinkles who stepped down from the role at Loganair in January after seven years.
Glasgow-based Loganair last week announced plans to expand its UK domestic flights from London Heathrow.
Farajallah has wide-ranging experience within the aviation sector including roles at flybe, British Airways CitiExpress, easyJet and Wizz Air.
Peter Simpson, Loganair’s executive chairman, said: “We are pleased to welcome Luke Farajallah to Loganair as our new chief executive officer. His commitment to operational excellence and resilience aligns perfectly with our mission to continually improve the services we offer to our valued customers.”
Farajallah added: “I feel a great sense of responsibility to ensure Loganair continues its proud tradition of being present in key regional areas and connecting people from some of the most remote areas of the UK.”
